Valpre Huisamen

Clinical Dietitian

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics at the University of Pretoria and founded Reset Health Dietitians.

My clinical work spans hospital and private practice, with a particular interest in critical care and ICU nutrition, oncology, diabetes and metabolic conditions, and weight management. I lead the in-hospital dietetic service at Louis Leipoldt Mediclinic and oversee the practice across Bellville and Panorama.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all nutrition. My focus is on practical, science-backed strategies that fit into real life and help patients feel confident in choices that last.

Outside the clinic, you’ll probably find me running with my two beautiful dogs, or working on my writing and online education projects that bring evidence-based nutrition to a wider audience.

Saskia Zietsman

Clinical Dietitian

With over 14 years of experience as a dietitian, I am passionate about helping others manage their health using individualised nutrition coaching. My love for medical science, evidence-based nutrition, and passion for helping others is what drives me to treat each patient with enthusiasm and expertise.

As a dedicated dietitian with a focus on digestive health, I have a special interest in managing conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I also have a passion for cancer nutrition and providing personalized guidance to those clients seeking to lose weight.

Being a mom of 2, I realise the challenges that modern day parents face when it comes to balancing work, parenting, healthy eating and exercise. I am therefore a strong believer in adapting advise according to each person’s unique life situation. There is absolutely no one-size-fits-all plan. I follow a holistic approach and place big emphasis on addressing issues such as mental health, stress, and adequate sleep as part of my treatment approach.

When I’m not revelling in your success, I’m probably reading, hiking, or hanging out with my kids.

Carli Loots

Clinical Dietitian

completed my BSc in Dietetics at North-West University. I see patients at our Panorama outpatient practice as well as on the wards at Louis Leipoldt Mediclinic.

My clinical interests include diabetes and insulin resistance, weight management, and supporting patients through chronic disease and recovery in the hospital setting. I work closely with our in-hospital team, which means I can carry continuity of care from the ward through to outpatient follow-up.

My approach makes nutrition approachable, sustainable, and enjoyable, focused on small, consistent habits that last.

Outside of work, I enjoy birdwatching, travelling, and vlogging my adventures.
